Protecting Patient Health: Understanding Shale Gas Development

Please join the Environmental Health Project (EHP), Cancer & Environment Network of Southwestern PA (CENSWPA), and Cancer Bridges on Thursday, September 25, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., online, for an overview of EHP’s Health Professional Toolkit. Although most environmental diseases either manifest as common medical problems or have nonspecific symptoms, environmental factors may not enter into a health professional’s diagnosis. This toolkit provides health professionals with up-to-date information and research on the impact of shale gas development on patient and client health.

After the overview, EHP staff will guide attendees to where they can complete the full online toolkit via the PAMED Learning Center and receive a CME/CE certificate.
