EHP Anniversary Dinner

The Environmental Health Project (EHP) invites you to join in celebrating its 10th anniversary year on September 15, 2022, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Energy Innovation Center in Pittsburgh. EHP is excited to mark this occasion with you while highlighting the impacts it has had over the past 10 years and also unveiling its plans for continuing to defend public health in the face of shale gas development over the next decade. 

The evening will include:

• Guided tours of the Energy Innovation Center

• Silent auction 

• Keynote presentation by John Smith, Esq.

• Remarks from EHP's executive director, Alison L. Steele

A vegetarian menu with a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and champagne toast will be served. Please be sure to note any dietary restrictions when registering for the event. 

In order to ensure the safety of staff and guests, EHP will follow all COVID-19 guidelines as mandated by venue, City of Pittsburgh, and CDC. Upon arrival, all guests will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test that is no more than 72 hours old.

About the Keynote Speaker

John M. Smith, Esq., is a member, partner, and co-founder of the law firm of Smith Butz, LLC in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Smith featured prominently in Amity and Prosperity: One Family and the Fracturing of America by Eliza Griswold for his representation of families fighting for their health and well being during the early days of the shale gas boom.
